  Valmiki   ( / v ɑː l ˈ m iː k i / ; [1]   Sanskrit : वाल्मीकि   Vālmīki   [ʋɑːlmiːki] ) [A]   is celebrated as the   harbinger - poet   in   Sanskrit literature .   Mohini   ( Sanskrit : मोहिनी,   Mohinī ) is a   Hindu goddess . She is the only female   avatar   of the   Hindu   god   Vishnu . She is portrayed as a   femme fatale , an enchantress, who maddens lovers, sometimes leading them to their doom. Mohini is introduced into the   Hindu mythology   in the narrative epic of the   Mahabharata .
